  • Science and Systems – Applying building science to a complex project to ensure water, air and thermal comfort are properly managed to make the building as efficient as possible withing the parameters set in the brief.
  • Research and Design – Applying design principles to a building design to fit within the brief and local codes and bylaws.
  • Documents and Regulations – Adapting and refining building program to conform to regulations, codes, and bylaws in a multifaceted project.
  • Technology – Implementation of new and emerging technologies relevant to architecture including but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Twin motion, and Lumion.

  • Technology – Application of technology to enhance performance and reduce environmental impact while maintaining design intent.
  • Design Studio – Designing solutions to specific briefs within a fifteen-week window; projects have included a primal habitat, single family home, collective habitat, and a cultural/recreational project.
